  1. We are all effected by bystander effect no matter how brave you are to make any step to help others.I have faced a lot of situations where i couldn't make any stable decision to help or not to help. Now I'm going to talk about one of them which may tell you something. It was a hot summer day in India, i was passing by a gentleman on a busy street. While i was passing by that gentleman i felt that something was not right. He was sweating too much and his legs and hands were shaking so much. I thought maybe it's a minor problem due to the temperature so i didn't help him that time, maybe other people thought that way so they also didn't help him. But the reality was that person was having a sun stroke which caused him to die. It was really hard to believe at that time But yes it was true and i regretted myself for that mistake.

  2. 1) When I'm the only one who witnesses the crime, I would be less likely to get involved in the incident. On the other hand, when some people are around, I will have the courage to take an action because it will be safer that people are watching what I'm doing and I'm actually not the criminal. For example, If I witness someone is attacking someone else and have a gun, if I got involved by myself and not call the police, maybe they will think that I'm a part of this murder. However, if this happened among a lot of people, and of course the attacker has no gun, I will surly get involved in this situation. It actually depends on the seniaro.

  3. 1.Dependent on the situation. Obviously the most important thing is make sure i am safe. For example,if i a person is arracked by someone and there only me witness,i might call a police catlike or just be a bystander; but if there are someone alse witness with me,probably we will do something.I
do not care who is the first one maybe is me. However if i can make sure that i will not be hurt by someone, i am glad to help he or she.

  4. It depends on the situation. But if it is a fighting of a couple, especially man and woman,I will firstly scream to distract both of them. In a second the anger can be disrupted, at least they can stop hurting each other for a while as they concern about a sudden voice. Then I will call for help if possible. About the situation related to property, if I see suspicious people trying steal or rob I will immediately scream at first.

  5. It's depend on the situation, but ourselve's safe is the most important thing. We don't want to make ourself into trouble. For example, once I took a bus in china, a young man tried to stolen money from other people's bag. I saw it and I walked through to tell another man who look like friendly, and he told other person on the bus to caught that thief. If only me on the bus, I may take the picture and then tell the police but I won't take action at that time.

  6. One example of the bystander effect that I experienced is in high school. In my class, There was a girl who loved to wear uniform shortened in a sexy way and change her black hair to colorful one. One day, she attracted a group of male & female bullies in school and got attached. I was there at that time and really felt pity for her when I observed how she was surrounded and offended by bullies. Though there were so many students in there, nobody took action. I requested one of my male friend to help her but he refused and asked me to ignore it. If there was only me in there, I would help her to fight against, even became the second victim but due to many people standing there, I walked away, hopefully, some boys might help her.
