Lincoln's life can be considered as a epitome of the American dream: growing from poverty, hard laboring, and not having a proper education, but became a great person not only to American but also to the World. Children and adolescences should learn from his childhood as an obedient son, a curious student, a thoughtful, and hard-working boy, especially his love for reading. Adults should learn from his honesty and his perseverance in getting through difficulties of life. Politicians should learn from his eager in doing the right things even though it could be paid by his life. He is the role model of every generation. He worked hard to overcome his poverty. From childhood he suffered a lot of pain, he lost every single person who were close to him. And i think that he got his mindset from those pain. He wanted to remove slavery because he felt the pain of a slave. He wasn't a great politicians , he was a great man. i would say his thoughts and curiosity, eager to do the right things made him great.

The most important issue is his complex moves toward ending slavery included the Emancipation Proclamation of 1863. Every day he suffered lots of stress but he still tried to helped his citizens. He is great because he make the united stated better.
There are a lot of things that make Lincoln great. The most important thing is his wonderful persistance. If he wanted to do something, he would definitly do it. Even if succes seemed impossible for all people, he would never be affected by what they were saying. Using logic and not emotions was a great thing that he did in making decitions. Moreover, he wasn't affected by peer pressure when he was a child, which is obviously unexpected. For me, these were the most important attitudes that make him great.
