Valentines Day activity

Hi Guys,

This Friday we're going to have a special Fun Day activity for the last 90 minutes to celebrate Valentine's Day. The theme of the Fun Day will be love.

Here's what I'd like you to do. I want you to get together with your classmates who are from your country or speak your language: Arabic, Spanish, Vietnamese, and Chinese, Korean, Thai, and Bengali. I want you to make a presentation about love to perform in front of your classmates. The presentation should be between 5-10 minutes. Susan and I will do something special as well.

Your performance can be a skit (acting), a song, a poem, or a love story. The main thing is that everyone participates and you teach us something from your culture. You can sing it or perform it in your language, but then you'll have to translate it for us. We welcome your creativity!

We can talk about this some more in class, but I just wanted to give you the "heads up" to start thinking about it.
